It was a beautiful day, so I dunked the kids by their heels in sunscreen, and we headed out for a walk/ride around the neighborhood and to the park. Here's three of Superboy leading the way. He's getting pretty good on the bike. If you look closely at the second picture (hint: click on the photo), you can see our neighbor's blue-flame-painted monster truck. Doesn't it make you want one, too?
Supergirl likes the swing. And just look at her big brother, so sweetly pushing her. What a guy! Sorry if the second photo looks odd--the Girl was blindingly overexposed at first, so I Photoshopped the shot, but I really don't know how to use that program!
Out to dinner with the kids (an increasingly rare event, and it wasn't common to begin with) at our new favorite place. As we were gobbling our appetizers, an elderly gentleman in a marvelous yellow tie (yes, he was wearing other clothing too, shame on you) entered the dining room and sang a few a cappella numbers in Italian, much to Superboy's delight. Supergirl clearly enjoyed the opportunity to people-watch whilst gnawing on various items. The Boy had spaghetti and meatballs and got to bring home his very own "doggy bag". Can't beat that.
